Today’s course really excites me. I found many ideas actually related to me. The facial motion capture idea from Steve is very similar and we could even team up, and my experience in motion capture data transfer from mini project 1 could help a lot. I also have quite some things to say about the cloth simulation idea, as I made a GPU based cloth simulation in mini project 2 and had a hard time handling collision. I feel like the things I learned in the course and the projects I did gradually becomes useful and not just an assignment.

Now since I cannot find the JALI source code, I may move to work on facial recognition / mocap based animations. And I hope this time I could make some actual tool so that people can use in their development. After all it is exactly what a technical artist does!
